Yes, this kit was pricey. And yes, I could probably have gotten the ingredients independently much more cheaply. But having the kit all together along with detailed directions was priceless. My grandson had a blast and enjoyed sharing with his siblings.
My grandsons ages 7 and 12 got these from me for Christmas because they really like bubble gum. They found it easy to do (the 12 yr old did help the 7 yr old) and especially enjoyed tasting the gum. It turned out better than expected!
